Ice storage
Ice tank
Save energy costs with the help of our ice storages! An ice storage tank is an insulated tank with built-in copper coils, a stainless steel heat exchanger and an air circulation system. The copper coil, which contains the cooling gas, freezes the water contained in the tank and generates a cold supply. Thereby, the water flowing through the stainless steel spiral is cooled. In this way, the water cooler offers a higher performance and guarantees the hygiene and quality of the water. SKADEC ice storage tanks use latent heat, i.e. heat that is converted at the transition between solid ice and liquid water. The advantage of this is that no explicit permits are required for installation, as only water is used and any possible leakage has no negative impact on the environment or the groundwater. The ice storage can be delivered with or without cooling unit and pumping station. The efficient design of the ice storage offers an optimal heat exchange surface, so that both the ice production in the reservoir and the cooling capacity can be increased sustainably.
