Water chillers and heat pumps in special design
Our flexible organisation enables us to respond to customer wishes individually with special systems outside the usual catalogue solutions. We have already customized a large number of special systems to customers. Our customers benefit greatly from the fact that all programmes for our machines have been developed in-house. All control strategies are designed by our engineers, foremen and technicians. Our claim is nothing less than optimal control behaviour. Machines can be designed in such a way that high and low ambient temperatures, limited space and high noise protection requirements are met. In product design, the focus can be on plant efficiency, plant redundancy or cost criteria, as specified. An individually tailored system, customized to the specific application, guarantees the best possible solution for the customer and also prevents unwanted, inefficient compromises.
ADVANTAGES OF SKADEC WATER CHILLERS AND HEAT PUMPS
Technical details
SKADEC chillers and heat pumps are available with various components. These include reciprocating, screw or scroll compressors, stepless or stepped capacity control, noise-reducing versions, integrated free cooling, integrated hydraulic modules and PLC control.
Natural refrigerants
Sustainability, energy efficiency and future-proofing are just a few of the criteria we take into account when designing our chillers and heat pumps. That’s why our systems are available with natural refrigerants such as R290 (propane), R1270 and R600a.
Conventional refrigerants
In addition to natural refrigerants, we also offer our chillers and heat pumps with conventional refrigerants as an option. These are R1234ze, R515B, R513A, R454B and R32. We will be happy to advise you on the right refrigerant for your system.

ELIGIBLE SYSTEM CONCEPTS
R290 chillers and heat pumps from our product portfolio are available in an eligible technical configuration. The expected subsidy amount is:
- 15% of the investment costs for R290 chillers
- 35% of the investment costs for R290 heat pumps
- Specialist planning and construction supervision are also subsidized with 50%
- Save CO₂ and reduce net investment costs at the same time!
Example:
R290 heat pump with investment costs of EUR 100,000 and planning costs of EUR 20,000.
Subsidy: EUR 35,000 for the heat pump
+ EUR 10,000 for planning
= 45,000 EUR subsidy
