The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is particularly suitable for outdoor applications. Due to the F-Gas regulation and the “phase-down” decided therein, the price for synthetic refrigerants such as R410a, R134a or R513a will increase in the long term. There is also an additional procurement risk. Therefore natural refrigerants are the refrigerant of choice!
We at SKADEC would like to support specialized craftsmen and fitters in the planning, implementation and commissioning of chillers and heat pumps. With our products we uniformly rely on the software solutions we have developed especially for the trade. By means of remote maintenance the craftsman can support and delegate his service technicians on the construction site directly from the central office. SKADEC sees itself as your partner. PROCESS COOLING
As diverse as the industry itself
At SKADEC, we understand operational safety and high plant availability. Therefore, all our chillers and heat pumps can be monitored remotely. This ensures that a possible malfunction is detected at an early stage so that a system failure does not occur in the first place. This type of predictive maintenance requires shorter response times, which in turn means lower costs and qualitative advantages for the service personnel.
PRODUCTION AIR CONDITIONING
Increase employee satisfaction, production without tolerances
Air-cooled heat pumps with propane (R290) and chillers with water or brine as the heat transfer medium are particularly suitable for the correct air conditioning of production and industrial halls. Rising temperatures in summer and long-lasting heat waves increasingly require the subsequent installation of a cooling system. SKADEC has the right chiller for these applications and also suitable air recirculation duct units in its product portfolio. Preferably we use natural refrigerants as well as the air-cooled propane (R290) heat pump. Software solutions for the higher-level control of the entire system including the duct units round off our service. Here, eligible system concepts with natural refrigerants offer a cost-effective and future-proof alternative to applications with HFC refrigerants.

Reliable remote access from anywhere
With SKADEC you can sit back and enjoy maximum mobility and flexibility. With the help of our in-house developed PLC-based control software, all systems – whether from mobile devices or PCs – can be monitored in real time and around the clock. Our innovative “Condition Monitoring” offers you the possibility to check all components and process data via remote maintenance. We guarantee you user-friendliness and operational safety at industry standard. This unique mobility gives you maximum freedom and flexibility. Software solutions:

COMPACT HYDRAULIC MODULES ALSO AS CONTAINER SOLUTION
According to your requirements
SKADEC manufactures individual hydraulic modules for you in a short time – completely flexible according to your needs. The modules planned in CAD are approved by the client before production. Within the hydraulic modules, pumps, distributors, buffer storage, hydraulic switches, replenishment systems etc. can be integrated. The hydraulic modules are available in an open version for indoor installation as well as closed in a weatherproof housing for outdoor installation. According to customer requirements we also use components from renowned manufacturers such as Wilo, Grundfos, Reflex, Sinus and Magra.
FREE COOLING
as an energy-efficient alternative
The free cooling enables a cold generation where hardly any electricity is consumed. This method represents an energy-efficient alternative to mechanical cooling. In free cooling, the cold ambient air is drawn through an air heat exchanger. This in turn transports the medium to be cooled, usually water with an antifreeze. Free cooling is suitable from a system flow temperature of about 15°C. Free cooling is also available from SKADEC in combination with an R290 (propane) chiller/cold brine unit. Possible designs:
- Sliding free cooling integrated in the chiller
- Hybrid free cooling integrated in the chiller
- Free-standing recooler as a free cooler, controlled by the refrigeration machine.
SERVER COOLING
For a stable climate
Our chillers with multiple, separate cooling circuits ensure high availability and thus reduce the general probability of failure of your technical and server rooms. This ensures that all data centers can always reliably provide all stored data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SKADEC determines for you an optimal and operating cost-saving server cooling, which fits your needs and the performance of the computer to be cooled.

ELIGIBLE SYSTEM CONCEPTS (ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PROJECTS LOCATED IN GERMANY)
R290 chillers and heat pumps from our product portfolio are available in an eligible technical configuration. The expected subsidy amount is:
- 15% of the investment costs for R290 chillers
- 35% of the investment costs for R290 heat pumps
- Specialist planning and construction supervision are also subsidised at 50%
- Save CO2 and reduce net investment costs at the same time!
Example:
R290 heat pump with investment costs of EUR 100,000 and planning costs of EUR 20,000.
Subsidy: EUR 35,000 for the heat pump
+ EUR 10,000 for planning
= 45,000 EUR subsidy
