We, the company SKADEC, are one of the leading suppliers of sustainable air conditioning and refrigeration technology in Germany and other European countries. For ten years now, we have been developing and researching sustainable, high-quality and reliable chillers at our headquarters in the southern German Hohenlohe district, true to our slogan “The Green Cooling”. We work exclusively with future-proof low-GWP refrigerants such as the natural and environmentally friendly refrigerant propane (R290).

Our corporate values are sustainability, quality and reliability. We live this in a dynamic and motivated team. Through our work, we want to set an example for the future in order to reliably provide this sustainable technology with the highest quality for everyone.

What does SKADEC mean?

The name SKADEC is derived from the name SKADI and the designation ECO . Skadi is known in Norse mythology as the goddess of winter, after whom Scandinavia was probably named. It is associated with strength, acumen and the courage to do new things. This is exactly what has distinguished us since the first development steps in 2012/2013. Since then, we have specialised in sustainable refrigeration and air conditioning technology with natural refrigerants, especially systems with environmentally friendly propane (R290).
With the spin-off of our own company from the Kratschmayer Group, we have been a strong partner since 2018 for saving life cycle costs as well as needs-based cooling and heating for trade and industry using energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies.

FLEXIBLE AND POWERFUL

Thanks to our more than 430 motivated employees in the group of companies, we have been working for many years on the development of trend-setting products in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology. We are particularly proud of our self-developed controller software. By using freely programmable controllers, our development team, consisting of technicians, master craftsmen and engineers in the fields of refrigeration, control technology and software development, was able to design novel control strategies. The development focus of these algorithms is particularly on the combination of user-friendliness, maximum availability and plant efficiency. In addition, our systems are characterized by the high SKADEC quality standard. For example, components from well-known German manufacturers are mainly used. This ensures the availability of spare parts and ensures the required reliability.

In our two production plants in Lithuania, our very experienced and professional team assembles our chillers, heat pumps, hydraulic modules and other products for refrigeration and heating technology. In doing so, we rely on state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies with high precision to create innovative and energy-efficient solutions for heating and air conditioning technology.

Employees from engineering, production and quality assurance work closely together to achieve continuous improvement and constantly increase the efficiency of the heat pump systems. This close cooperation ensures that every chiller and heat pump is not only reliable and durable, but also meets the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.
