Water-cooled R290 compact chillers
Thanks to the use of natural refrigerant R290, variable capacities can be provided with a small installation area. The compact design and a sophisticated safety concept enable operation in the building (in a machine room or non-public area) with a reduced installation area.

Intelligent control
The industry-standard PLC control system installed as standard ensures that the cooling or heating capacity is provided as required. Each module has its own control system and functions independently. In the event of a fault in individual systems, autonomous operation of the compact chillers is ensured at all times. Several control systems connected in parallel can be operated and managed centrally via a higher-level control system.
Tested security concept
Thanks to its modular design and intelligent control system, the compact chiller guarantees operational reliability at the highest level. The self-functioning refrigeration system combined with permanent monitoring of the process data allows deviations from the target status to be detected at an early stage, thereby avoiding system failures.
VDE wired control cabinet
All SKADEC control cabinets are wired and tested in accordance with VDE. We attach particular importance to standard-compliant load distribution and vibration-proof design.
Efficient and high-quality components
SKADEC R290 compact water chillers achieve improved performance figures thanks to high-quality components such as frequency-controlled compressors and speed-controlled high-efficiency pumps (optional). The focus is on high processing quality.

ELIGIBLE SYSTEM CONCEPTS (only available for projects located in Germany)
R290 chillers and heat pumps from our product portfolio are available in an eligible technical configuration. The expected subsidy amount is:
- 15% of the investment costs for R290 chillers
- 35% of the investment costs for R290 heat pumps
- Specialist planning and construction supervision are also subsidised at 50%
- Save CO2 and reduce net investment costs at the same time!
Example:
R290 heat pump with investment costs of EUR 100,000 and planning costs of EUR 20,000.
Subsidy: EUR 35,000 for the heat pump
+ EUR 10,000 for planning
= 45,000 EUR subsidy
